Aerospace Valley is an association of 1901 law. It was created on 13 July 2005 to develop the competitiveness of the Aeronautics division at national, European and international level. Space, Embedded systems Midi-Pyrénées & Aquitaine, labeled Pôle mondial by the CIADT of July 12, 2005.

Aerospace Valley brings together companies, research center, training centers and institutions  concerned with the sector in both regions.

Digital Place is the cluster of digital companies in the Midi-Pyrénées region. It is made up of companies of all sizes, from the startup to the intermediate-sized company (ETI), representative of all the information and communication technology professions.

In May2009, the BioMedical Alliance brought together SISMIP and MIDIBIOTECH, the two associations bringing together on the one hand, the healthcare industry and, on the other hand, the biotechnology companies. The objectives of this system are :

  • To increase the competences of the members, in particular thoseof the CNES, by ensuring the constant updatingof knowledge on the evolution of techniques

  • Ensure that the space sector is well taken into account by the best studies and the best developments in other sectors of activity
  • Ensure the dissemination in other sectors of the developments in the space vector
  • Contribute to the definition of the technical policy of CNES
